Join me for a relaxing cycle through beautiful Alghero as I ride from Maria Pia Beach along the coastal bike path towards the heart of the city.

The route follows the seafront, stopping at a small beachside café near Alghero’s main beach for a refreshing peach juice before continuing past the marina and into the fascinating old town. With its ancient stone walls, narrow cobbled streets and centuries of history, Alghero feels like stepping back in time.

After exploring the historic centre, I leave through the opposite side of the old town and follow the bike path back along the coast. Of course, no summer ride in Italy would be complete without stopping for a gelato before heading home.

A simple but beautiful ride showcasing the charm of Alghero, its coastline, history, and laid-back Mediterranean atmosphere.
